The basic characteristics of written and spoken language can be understood and used separately. |

A learner can use the language for the public facilities and social relation, as well as general work performance. Also, most general social topics of ‘news and newspaper articles’ can be understood and used. It is possible to understand and use socio-cultural contents based on the common idiomatic expressions and understanding representative Korean culture. |

A learner enhances advanced expressions and comprehension skills based on what has been learned in elementary and intermediate classes. It is also possible to appropriately classify the language according to the situation-formal and informal as well as spoken and written context. |
Korean 6 | Based on the learned language ability, it is possible to logically and fluently express his / her ideas for research or work in the specialized field. A learner can understand and discuss academic and specific topics such as ‘politics, economy, society and culture’. Though not having reached the level of native speakers, he or she does not suffer from performing linguistic functions or expressing opinions. |
